Meet Sophie Lynn-Evans
Director & Clinical Psychologist
It is important to me that my clients always feel heard, held and empowered throughout our work together. My goal is to offer a validating and non-judgemental space that allows them to be open and honest about their experiences, regardless of what they are holding. Life is full of the unexpected- this is especially true on the journey to (and throughout) parenthood. Together we can navigate the challenges you are facing and identify your values to connect you with a sense of joy and purpose within the chaos.
I would describe my style as warm, calm and collaborative and I believe the most effective changes occur when we can draw upon your own personal strengths. I love encouraging my clients to step out of their comfort zone in the pursuit of growth, whilst always remaining mindful to move at their pace. I also believe a good dose of humour can go a long way.
I have built a wealth of experience and knowledge working within private practice settings, in addition to hospital inpatient and outpatient settings, supporting individuals across the lifespan presenting with a vast array of mental health concerns.
Through my work within the perinatal space I have developed a particular interest in supporting women who have experienced birth trauma, in addition to those experiencing perinatal anxiety and OCD.
I am also a mum of two young children (and one small pooch), so understand the complexity that comes with balancing the needs of the self with that of a young family.
